Refunds & Cancellation Policy

Overview

This policy applies to subscription payments made by Restaurant Partners to SmartTable Technologies for access to the SmartTable restaurant management platform. Payments are processed via Razorpay Payment Gateway.

SmartTable does not process customer food payments - those are handled directly at the restaurant counter. This policy covers only SmartTable subscription fees.

Subscription Cancellation

  • Restaurant Partners may cancel their subscription at any time by contacting us at supportsmarttable@gmail.com
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Access continues until the subscription expiry date.
  • No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a billing period.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds are considered in the following cases:

  • Duplicate payment: If you were charged twice for the same subscription period, the duplicate charge will be refunded in full within 7 business days.
  • Payment failure with deduction: If your payment was deducted but the subscription was not activated, we will either activate the subscription or issue a full refund within 5 business days.
  • Service unavailability: If SmartTable is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours due to our fault, a pro-rated refund for the affected period may be issued upon request.

Non-Refundable Items

  • Subscription fees for periods already used
  • Partial months or unused days within a subscription period
  • Payments made for plan upgrades

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email us at supportsmarttable@gmail.com
  2. Include your Restaurant ID, payment reference number, and reason for refund
  3. We will review and respond within 3 business days
  4. Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method

Shipping Policy

SmartTable is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform. We do not ship physical goods. All services are delivered digitally via our web and desktop applications. There is no shipping involved.
