1. About SmartTable

SmartTable ("we", "us", "our") is a SaaS restaurant management platform operated by SmartTable Technologies, India. We provide software services including QR-code based ordering, kitchen display systems, analytics, GST reporting, and staff management tools to restaurant businesses ("Restaurant Partners").

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SmartTable's platform (website, desktop application, or customer-facing web app), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

3. Services Provided

SmartTable provides the following services to Restaurant Partners:

  • QR code-based digital menu and ordering system
  • Kitchen Display System (KDS) for order management
  • Table and session management
  • Staff management (waiters, cashiers, kitchen staff)
  • Analytics and sales reporting
  • GST-compliant billing and report generation
  • Inventory management
  • AI-powered insights

Customer food payments are handled directly at the restaurant counter (cash, UPI, card). SmartTable does not process customer food payments.

4. Subscription & Payments

Restaurant Partners pay SmartTable a subscription fee to access the platform. The subscription plan is 12 months. Payments are processed securely via Razorpay Payment Gateway.

  • A one-time onboarding fee of Rs.7,000 applies per restaurant
  • Subscription fees vary by plan and number of outlets
  • All prices include 18% GST (SAC code 998314)
  • Subscriptions are activated upon successful payment verification
  • Access is suspended if subscription expires and is not renewed

5. User Responsibilities

Restaurant Partners agree to:

  • Provide accurate business and KYC information during onboarding
  • Keep login credentials confidential and not share them with unauthorised persons
  • Use the platform only for lawful restaurant management purposes
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the SmartTable software
  • Comply with applicable Indian tax laws including GST filing obligations

6. Data & Privacy

SmartTable collects and processes data as described in our Privacy Policy. Restaurant data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted on AWS infrastructure. We do not sell your data to third parties.

7. Intellectual Property

All software, designs, logos, and content on the SmartTable platform are the intellectual property of SmartTable Technologies. Restaurant Partners are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the platform during their active subscription period.

8. Limitation of Liability

SmartTable shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the subscription fees paid in the last 3 months. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service but aim for 99% uptime.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the subscription at the end of the current billing period. SmartTable reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, Restaurant Partners may request an export of their data within 30 days.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
